SHADOWS OF MYTHOS
The visual approach was inspired by Guillermo del Toro’s vision, filmography, and aesthetics found in his works. From Gothic detail, Victorian culture, Greek mythology and fairy tale, Steam-punk, Dada-ism, surrealism, symbolism, complimentary, and triad colors; golden yellows. deep blue and reds; it will all help build a cohesive design system.
Layers were important for this project. The tittle called for a prestigious typeface, with distressed decor, just like his films tend to be. Colorful imagery will highlight the brilliant visuals.
